What can it do?

Home / What can it do?

The first thing to do is specify the game (or generation) you’re interested in. The Pokédex will remember your current game even if you restart the Pokédex or Alexa.

Change my game to Pokémon HeartGold.
Your current game has been set to Pokémon HeartGold, generation 4.

If you forget your current game, just ask the Pokédex:

What’s my current game?
Your current game is Pokémon HeartGold, generation 4.

You can ask the Pokédex about type matchups:

The Pokédex, of course, knows all about Pokémon. Ask it to read you an entry:

You can ask some specific Pokémon questions if you don’t want the whole entry:

What number is Mewtwo?
Mewtwo is #150.

What type is it?
Mewtwo is pyschic.

What forms does Castform have?
Castform has the forms Castform, Sunny Castform, Rainy Castform, and Snowy Castform.

You can also search for Pokémon:
